Set Up Your Instant Promotion Pop-Up Tent

Setting up your event tent shouldn’t be a struggle. With Instant Promotion’s high-quality pop-up canopies, getting event-ready is quick and straightforward. Whether you're a seasoned exhibitor or a first-time user, these easy tent setup tips will walk you through the process step-by-step.

Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up Your Instant Promotion Pop-Up Tent

Step 1: Unpack the Frame from the Storage Bag

Start by removing the tent frame from your storage solution, like our durable Pro Wheel Bag. Place it on level ground with the canopy fabric already attached if you’ve pre-installed it.

Step 2: Expand the Tent Frame

With one person on each side, pull the frame outward to arm’s width. If you’re working solo, gently lift and step backward while pulling the frame open evenly.

Step 3: Lift and Unfold the Frame

Use the truss bars in the center of the canopy to help lift and extend the frame. Stand on one side, lift gently, and move backward as you go. Be mindful of finger placement to avoid pinching.

Step 4: Secure the Corner Slider Brackets

Once the frame is fully extended, push each corner bracket up the leg until you hear it click into place. That click means it's secure and properly locked.

Step 5: Adjust Leg Height to Your Preference

Release the pull pin on each leg to raise your canopy to the ideal height. Start with the lowest setting and work your way up. For uneven surfaces, adjust individual legs to ensure stability.

Connecting Full Height and Half Height Walls

Instant Promotion tents are fully customizable with a variety of wall options to suit your setup.

Full Height Walls

Attaching a full height wall is easy—just line up the top edge and secure the straps around each leg.

Our full height walls come in several styles—solid, windowed, zippered door, and mesh. Each can be printed single- or double-sided.

Attach a full height wall by aligning the strip at the top of the wall with the strip on the valance of the canopy. Press firmly along the edge to secure. At the ends of each wall, straps wrap around the tent legs to keep it in place. When setting up multiple walls, use the built-in zippers to connect them together and create a fully enclosed space.

Half Height Walls

Half height walls include aluminum support bars and brackets for a stable, polished fit.

Half walls offer excellent branding and visibility while maintaining accessibility. They also come in single- or double-sided print options.

To set up a half wall:

  • Attach the half wall brackets to the frame legs.
  • Assemble the included aluminum support bar and slide it into the pole pocket of the wall.
  • Place the wall on the support brackets and secure the end straps around each leg.

How to Take Down a Pop-Up Tent

  1. Lower each leg using the pull-pin system.
  2. Release all corner slider brackets.
  3. Gently push the frame inward from opposite corners.
  4. If walls are attached, remove them first and fold neatly.
  5. Pack the frame into your Pro Roller Bag or storage case.
